With holidays just around the corner, have you thought about how you are going to keep your cases moving while you or your colleagues are away from the office?
Our service, 'My Connections', allows users to grant colleagues access to their orders, enabling them to view and print conveyancing searches on their behalf.
'My Connections' is ideal for those taking time away from the office. The function gives users peace of mind that someone is keeping an eye on their orders, leaving them free to relax and enjoy their time off.
This functionality will also benefit those that job share and offices where multiple people can be involved in one transaction. Users can grant and remove access to colleagues within their branch as and when required, helping conveyancing teams work more efficiently together.
Use order-sharing today!
To start using the new service today, simply:
1. Login to your Geodesys online ordering account.
2. Go to 'My Details'.
3. Click on 'My Connections'. If you have colleagues within your branch that are registered on our system, their details will appear, allowing you to grant or remove access to your orders.
4. Once you save your changes, your colleague will receive an email notifying them of their newly-acquired access. They will then be able to see within the "Order History" page, the orders that they have in place and, if they tick "My Connections Orders" on the right-hand side of the screen, they will be able to see your orders as well. Completed searches can be downloaded and printed from this screen.
5. Anyone using the facility can distinguish their own orders from colleagues' orders by using the icons to the left of the order date. Colleagues' orders are denoted by the cluster icon as highlighted below. Your own orders are denoted by the single icon.
