Our My connections service allows your team members to grant colleagues access to their orders, enabling them to view and print conveyancing searches on their behalf 24/7.
My connections is ideal for those taking time away from the office. It gives users peace of mind that someone is keeping an eye on their orders, leaving them free to relax and enjoy their time off. This is in line with the Law Society Conveyancing Protocol which states that proper arrangements need to be made for file management, including absent colleagues.
This functionality can also benefit those who job-share, and offices where multiple people are involved in one transaction. Users can grant and remove access to colleagues within their branch as and when required, helping conveyancing teams work more efficiently together.
This free-of-charge service is available to anyone who is registered with the Geodesys ordering site. Simply navigate to the ‘My details’ tab, and click on My connections. If you have colleagues within your branch that are also registered with Geodesys their details will appear, allowing you to grant or remove access to your orders. This works two-way so you’ll also be able to see their orders.
All orders can be viewed on your order history screen. Your own orders are denoted by a single icon, whereas a colleague’s order(s) will be denoted by a cluster icon.
