Location
The William Cecil is situated at the top of High street, St Martins in Stamford, enjoying a prominent position over the rest of the town.

Stamford town is easily accessed by train and car. The town is on the Cross Country train line between Birmingham and Stansted Airport (via Cambridge) and a short train connection to the main East coast line at Peterborough, with easy access to London, York, Edinburgh and beyond. By car is just as easy, with Stamford situated just off the A1.

Put PE9 2LJ into your Sat Nav and follow the instructions. If that doesn’t work, exit the A1 at the Carpenter’s lodge exit, signposted Burghley House and Stamford. Continue for 1 mile and the hotel will be on your right as you enter Stamford. The hotel has plenty of car-parking with space for up to 60 vehicles.
